FnF Father's Day Weekend

Recommended Posts

Had a blast up at Field and Forest this past weekend. Hero traction for days. Got through all of Easy St with just one tug at a spot I just couldn't get a good line at, but super pumped on making the exit, with some great spotting, on just DOT tires. Hopefully someone got video of that.

Did a bunch of night wheelin' which is always a blast up here.

Have to go through my pics, but here are a couple for now.

I'm SURE nobody was drinking that night. NO WAY.

I need to make it up there to FnF one of these days. Been there once, but wasn't wheeling. Only picking up a set of axles from a guy the same weekend my club was doing OFR and some of those trails.

No drinking on the trail... So it was a club run. Fun ensued once we returned to camp.

You guys go wheeling?

I do, but seem like one of a few on here that does, haha.

Sunday was Boulderdash/Pinball. My rig was down for the count with a dented oil pan, making some knocking noises and a stripped out front passenger leaf spring perch bolt. Got to address those before taking it on the trails again.

Sucker Punch.
This red trail is pretty nuts. My rig was already down for the count but without sticky tires I didn’t have any business running it and it was already after noon on Sunday anyway, so I walked along and spotted the two rigs when needed. As with all these pics, none are done any justice. This place is insane. Especially the climb in the last couple pics. But with the dry weather traction was awesome as it’s not an easy climb to make, never mind as easy as they made it. Video to come.
