Tractar tar size

Recommended Posts

Kubota B9200 4x4

What is acceptable for % difference F to R?

Book specifies 3 options:

Turf 13.6-16 rear, 24x8.5-12 front...38" / 23.6" = 1.610 ratio

Ag 12.4-16 rear, 6-12 front...37.7" / 22.7" = 1.661 ratio

Ag 8.3-24 rear, 6-12 front...39" / 22.7 = 1.718 ratio

Those diameters are theoretical based on what I can find online. There's a 6% difference between the 1st and 3rd option. Seems excessive, unless the numbers I have are wrong.

I have replaced my rears with 15-19.5 and fronts 23x8.5-14...40.5" / 23.8" = 1.702 ratio. Seems like I'm in the ballpark of what I can find.

Close enough? FIWI?

Get the stock tire size that fits your rimz?

Believe me I would have rather done that. Rear rims were rotted from calcium. Fronts were not stock when I got the tractor. The tractor is 30 years old and the rims are obsolete through Kubota. Had to make something more modern work.

I'll be going through the same thing with my Honda 5013. The tractor hasn't been made in years and used an oddball tire size that no one makes anymore. I've got a few notes from a couple threads I've found.
