Before leaving work yesterday I was doing some grading and recording and discovered 3 students with identical papers. This "section" is one of 10 required papers to do to graduate. Two of the guys are trouble makers who have accused me of being too pushy to have them complete their work. One of them has been bragging all over campus that he is completing work faster than any student in history, which with cheating he has gotten close to.

At least 2 of them are going to be walked to the gate today. They can appeal with the Dept. of Labor, but so far that success rate is about 5% in cases where mistakes were made on the schools side. One of them is probably going to attack me when he finds out this morning.

Hopefully that doesn't happen Roy and it all works out for you.

Got into work 2 hours early to make up for some of the time needed to bring the youngest to the doctors yesterday.

We are hands off, but obviously, I'd defend myself.

I can't tell if you're a teacher/professor or prison guard. :lipsrsealed:

Truth. But, heres the bad news, most schools are going through the same thing. Most of todays kids are not what we remember kids being. When conservatives like me preach about how liberals are killing America, this is the result. Kids who assume they are owed everything.  All of my students have Iphone 7's, not one could tell me what their bill was. They get free housing, food, education, clothes, medical, and they get paid to attend ($50-$100/week), they get driven to/from anywhere they need to go, drivers license, but they were up in arms yesterday over the quality of the shoe laces in their free Timberland boots.

Unfortunately I found out that in an attempt to boost enrollments recently, they are taking in more "bad guys" than usual.

Wife took her seasonal pink slip 2 weeks early. Said she was "done" . Will be interesting to see what she does with herself for the next 2 1/2 -3 months.

I’m glad to hear you taking a stand.  Teachers these days are so afraid of hurting someone’s feelings they don’t do what’s right in a case like this.

You cheated, you fail.

I've got several cousins that are teachers and I honestly feel bad for what they have to deal with every day. Although, they have now become brainwashed liberals themselves and actually believe the stuff that's going on. It's all about the company you keep and what you listen to on a regular basis.

*sigh*  Lisa was quoting CNN and Washington Post last night.  I cried inside as I tried to explain...

My wife got back from NYC yesterday from her trip with her friend Joan to see the rockettes. Her friend is a huge Hillary supporter and was talking about the gun reciprocity vote that she doesn't agree with and Trump's removing of federal monument land from govt protection. Wife asked me because she says Joan's views are too liberal so she wanted the real story. At least she knows her friend is very one sided with what she thinks is right.
