    diesel trucks pros and cons

Still happy I went with a gas jobber 1/2 ton  just about to hit 3 years old, around 56,XXX miles on it with 9 months of that sitting in storage. I may not be towing 20k anywhere with it, but I frequently tow about every weekend all winter, and haul the Jeep around occasionally in the summer. Oil changes with Amsoil at the factory intervals (8,000ish miles). I had 1 manifold replaced under warrantee and besides that I have had zero issues with it besides having to upgrade to load range E tires.

    Versatube buildings

So we are building our dream house currently and are planning everything out. The construction loan is covering the new house build and the attached garage, but not the additional shop. So we are planning the future shop addition to the property already. We were looking into pole barns vs. conventional building for something around 30x40x14. Something that caught my eye thanks to my father (Krawler) is VersaTube Building Systems and their metal building kits. Was wondering if anyone has heard of them before. Would finish the interior with insulation, wiring, etc. but the pricing is definitely interesting. www.versatube.com

    diesel trucks pros and cons

I still love my '13 Ram 1500. Has around a 10k tow rating and toes better than my 03 2500 did. I've put over 50k miles on it already, with a large portion towing either the Jeep or the toy hauler (each at around 7k plus a loaded down truck). The ride is nice and plush with IFS and coil sprung rear. Only issues I've had was the Wranglers going bald FAST with the frequent towing. Besides that it has been issue free. If I was to buy new again right now, I'd highly consider the 1500 diesel 8 speed in place of the Hemi, but I do love my gasser too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

quick fact check for Atlas input shaft for a TJ AX15

Not a clue to the original answer, if you call AA they are typically very helpful. However if you do need the new input, I have a 23-spline input shaft for the Atlas that was switched out when the LS was put in. There are also two different input shafts in that spline count, a long and a short. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He was definitely entertaining in the beginning! As Jay said though, he's more getting his bum whoop now than laying haymakers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thursday - Up 'n' at 'em!

Mandatory classes all day, wahoo. Picked up a new kitten the other day, another Mainecoon. Didn't like the small poorly made cat trees at the pet store so whipped one up quick last night with some spare wood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    The OFFICIAL CraigsList Deals Thread

Plus side though is that if you buy new at a good deal, depreciation is also slower on trucks now. My 1500 is still worth more than I paid off the lot for it 2.5 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Still around? Debating on rigging this up on our toy hauler since our portable generator decided to die this weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Dash Mounted shifters

I love my Winters unit, but easy/cheap would make me think what you already stated with using an XJ shifter. Make a custom bezel or recess it into the dash would look pretty sweet. The YJ had a bare AW4 shifter mounted to the floor until the V8 swap and it worked flawlessly. Can even me modified for bumping 1st straight to Reverse, not that you would need that in this rig!
