4X DR ROCKERS

BEEF....that's all I can say about the guards.   Great instructions, overall a very good and easy install.

First, take off the extended flares on each side.  Clean and prep the area.  I just took a cloth and water to clean the area.

Then, using blocks of wood and a floor jack, jacked them into the body, and used a bungee to keep the guard from separating from the body.

Make sure all carpet, wires, etc are out of the way and start drilling.  Drill the bottom 3 holes first.  Spacers need to be put in between the guards and the body.  The front spacer needs to be taped or held in place, since you will have to drill a hole in the inside panel to get the washer and nut on.

Leave all bolts loose until all holes are drilled and bolts and nuts are attached.

Making sure guard is pressed against body, drill 6 holes in side panel and put bolts through.

The hole under the "EP" in JEEP, needs to go through inside panel.  Using the hole saw, drill hole through inside panel only.  Tape the washer to your finger and put on bolt.  Tape the nut into the socket, and tighten on cap bolt.

Now drill a hole 11/4" forward, and 1" below the hole you just drilled.  This will give you access to the front bolt under the rocker.  Again tape the washer to your finger and press on bolt.  Using a swivel and socket, tape nut to socket and, patiently, line up nut with bolt and tighten.

Here's a pic of the rocker wrapping under the body

Now, tighten down all bolts.  Then go test them on the Rocks!!

For future protection, I am going to put some caulking around the edge of the rockers, as there is a slight gap, to keep moisture and dirt out and prevent any rust.

I also plan on Herc'ing the guards to add to the durability of the finish.
