2 nights with my son, canoe out and back. i made reservations thru stephenphillipswildernescamping.com, we had camp 3.

pretty secluded, outhouse is an interesting walk at night, fire ring and 2 beaches. pics

Stayed at the "Stoney Batter" campsite.

 

On the plus side: It is all alone very far from the other sites on the lake. There is rooom for 5 tents.

 

On the minus side: It really is Stoney. There isn't a way to get a canoe to shore without hitting rocks. We were jumping out into waist deep water to walk the boats in. Same deal with swimming, you couldeither try and walk over the rocks or doggy paddle and scrape your knees to get to deep water. I would only go again if everyone brought their own damn boat. Took 5 trips to ferry everyones gear, dogs and people.
